Have your lenses tailor made to accommodate the way you use your head and eyes

lensepic1When it comes to the lenses you put in your spectacles, you have a bigger decision to make than you may think; they’re what enable you to see after all. It’s important the lenses you choose suit your needs perfectly and that’s where our Visioffice Dispensing Unit comes in.

At Bennett and Rogers we’re constantly investing in the most up-to-date technology and equipment so that we’re able to offer you the best service possible. The Visioffice Dispensing Unit is one of our latest additions.

There are very few optometry practices in Devon with a Visioffice Dispensing Unit, making this technology extremely special. Using 3D imaging, it is used to create bespoke lenses for you, taking up to 20 intricate measurements of your face and eyes to ensure you leave us with lenses that fit you perfectly.

Measurements the unit takes include the width of your nose, the angle at which your eyes sit, and even the part of your eyeball that acts as the centre of rotation. These measurements are each taken into account whilst your lenses are being produced so that your final product guarantees precise, natural vision.

Should you choose to have bespoke lenses, very little is required from you. You will be asked to simply stand in front of our Visioffice Dispensing Unit wearing your chosen pair of frames; the machine is then left with the hard work.

Finally, you will be shown a series of high quality images and videos so that you can get an idea of what you will look like in your new eyewear.

If you would like more information about our Visioffice Dispensing Unit, or to book an appointment to see one of our highly experienced opticians, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can find your nearest Bennett and Rogers branch by clicking here.
